Natural Looking Curls: Revlon 1 1/2 inch Curling Iron Review!

Hey Ladies,
I truly adore big, voluminous, natural looking curls. I own Conar 1 1/4 curling iron but I felt like I needed a tool that will give me literally BIGGER, and more  loose curls. Yesterday, while I was grocery shopping, I stopped by this Revlon 1 1/2 inch curling iron for $12 and decided to try it out and see how it will work with my hair.

Just for the record, I am not really a PRO when it comes to curling irons, my hair is naturally curly and usually I only use flat iron to make it look sleek and straight.

Step 1. Volumizing Mousse

Yesterday after I washed my hair I applied Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Mousse to my dump hair concentrating on the roots and dry my hair like usual, using the round brush to add some extra volume. Also I dried my hair straight so it will be easier to curl it and the curls itself will look nicer.

Step 2: Hairspray FixaTif

Before I start taking any sections of my hair, I sprayed my hair with Herbal Essences Hairspray FixaTif. It's a very light hair spray, that will help the curls to last longer.

Step 3: Curling Iron and Hairspray FixaTif

Then I start taking a small sections of my hair and curl it all the way up. After curling few sections, I spray it with FixTif again and continue with the rest of my hair. Remember to curl both front sections ( that go along your face) outwards, it looks much prettier! :)

And that's the finish look:

I really like it!

What do you think?

    1. right? And $12 is a good price too. I used fixatif before during and after and the curls held good for almost all day, after I think 9-10 hours they start to loose its shape a little bit.
