My top 3 favorite High-end & drugstore BB/CC Creams!

Purchased & PR Sample

For the past year and a half, I've been really loving using CC/BB cream instead of my usual foundation. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy wearing a full face of makeup but since becoming a mom my makeup routine changed pretty drastically and often times I just don't have that much time (or energy ha ) to do a full face every day. Instead, I like to reach out for my favorite bb/cc creams that not only do my skin good with its superior skincare properties but also even out my complexion and make me look fresh and awake. Over the years I've tried many BB/CC creams (which I included links to in this review) but today I wanted to focus on the ones I am loving at the moment. I also wanted to mention that my skin type changed over the years from combination to normal.

// Feels like a second skin

Erborian CC Creme ($44)

Erborian CC Creme with SPF25 is a "high-definition color correcting primer helps create a flawlessly luminous canvas by blurring the appearance of fine lines to leave skin prepped and ready for makeup application."

Why I love it?

Do you know that feeling when a product feels like it's just sitting on top of your skin? I can't stand it and that's why I fell in love with Erborian CC Creme almost immediately because it simply feels like a second skin. It goes on white but then adjusts to my skin color and matches it correcting any unevenness. It's definitely not a full coverage but it covers what it suppose to while still showing the skin. I love the fact that I can get away without setting it with powder and that it feels more like a skincare product than makeup. I am currently on my 3rd tube and I can't get enough of it. Tired, sleep deprived mama best friend for sure lol!

// Great coverage with a satin finish

Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12 Hour Primer ($37)

Tarte BB Tinted Treatment Primer with SPF30 is "a low-maintenance, high-performance longwear, vegan treatment primer that can be used under (or instead of) foundation for smoother, brighter looking skin."

Why I love it?

I really like the fact that you don't need a lot of product to get great coverage. And it really does offer good coverage. The texture is creamy and it takes seconds to blend it out. Another thing I love about it is its satin finish which basically lets me skip the setting powder altogether and enjoy the even complexion for many hours. It does feel more like a makeup product than skincare (unlike Erborian CC Creme) but that's just my personal preference. Overall the coverage is great, the satin finish makes my skin look good and it lasts long which is a deal breaker for me.

// DRUGSTORE FAVORITE AT THE MOMENT

No7 Airbrush Away Tinted Skin Perfector ($14.99)

No7 Airbrush Away Tinted Skin Perfector offers "multi-tasking formula that combines the benefits of skincare with sheer coverage for a satin finish."

Why I love it?

It reminds me a lot of the above Tarte one, just a drugstore option. It immediately blurs out the appearance of pores and fine lines and evens out my skin. Although the texture is a bit different and feels more like a mousse, it delivers the same satin finish like the Tarte one. The only difference between the two is the longevity. With Tarte I know I can get away without setting it with a powder and it stays put for hours, with No7 I do have to set it to last all day which isn't a big deal. Another thing I noticed is the shade range. I use shade light (which is pretty dark considering other light shades I use) but I had to wait until I got some tan cause otherwise, it looked a bit too dark on my complexion. Still, it has great coverage, smooth satin finish and it blends out in seconds!
