DIY 10 Minutes, At-Home Facial: M. Steves RHSO Reviving Exfoliator & Ultra-Nourishing Boost Review

When I received an e-mail about trying out at-home, facial using M. Steves skincare products, I was really excited to see how my skin will feel after their RHSO Power-Packed Reviving Exfoliator and Ultra-Nourishing Boost. Rose Hip Seed Oil (RHSO) is the main ingredient in all of their products, which helps rejuvenating the skin and has an anti-aging properties.

With both products came the flyer that explained step by step how to do the DIY at home facial, which is pretty awesome.

RHSO Power Packed Reviving Exfoliator ($48)

About the product:
"A 4-in-1 product that offers microdermabrasion scrub, glycolic peel, enzymatic peel, and Dead Sea mud mask.
Ingredients: Dead Sea mud, finely ground microdermabrasion particles (corundum crystals and walnut shell powder), fruit enzymes and alpha hydroxy acid (glycolic acid). Also contains M. Steves signature ingredient, Rose Hip Seed Oil, which is a powerful skin regenerating and anti-aging oil.
Benefits: Gives the visible results of a microdermabrasion treatment. Lifts and dissolves dead skin cells. Unclogs pores and removes impurities. Improves the appearance of skin tone and creates a smooth texture. Softens and nourishes skin. Provides antioxidant protection."

My Review:
RHSO Reviving Exfoliator comes in a plastic jar and has quite a thick texture. After applying and gently massaging it onto my skin I left the product on for few minutes. After that I applied another, this time thicker layer and let it sit for around 5 minutes. After that I rinsed it with warm water and instantly noticed a smoother, cleaner appearance of my skin. I did feel a little bit of dryness afterwards, but that is when the second product comes in.

RHSO Power Packed Ultra-Nourishing Boost ($64)

My Review:
I applied few drops of Power Packed Ultra Nourishing Boost to my face right after exfoliating it with M Steves Reviving Exfoliator and my skin felt incredibly soft and smooth. M Steves Nourishing Boost is liquid but it is not a thick oil, so application is very easy and the most important thing is that it doesn't feel or look greasy on the skin. I think it does a great job moisturizing my skin, especially now when the temperature is low and I need a little bit more than an everyday moisturizer. I use Nourishing Boost almost every night before going to sleep and I've noticed big difference in my skin appearance. It also works great on my hands, especially when I have some product left after application.

Lovely packaging

Summary:
I try to do the at home, facial routine at least every 10 days. I really like that it's quick and that it makes my skin look more even and brighter. I really enjoy using both products, especially the Ultra Nourishing Boost, which leaves my skin soft and smooth.

Have a lovely day,
