Favorite self-tanners at the moment: Tanceuticals & Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster!

We all know how tanning is unhealthy and damages your skin and I haven't been to a tanning bed since probably high school, so whenever I try to add some color to my skin I find at home self-tanners to be the best resolution. I have been experimenting with different self-tanners for years and I've used many different brands and one of my favorite of all times is St. Tropez bronzing mousse. When it comes to my face self-tanner my number one and only has been Collistar Face Magic Drops (full review here)  that I have been using when I lived in Europe. The only problem with Collistar is that it is an Italian brand and I did look everywhere online to try to order Magic Drops in the US but I couldn't find it anywhere (I even asked the brand itself on twitter lol). Since then I've been on a lookout for something similar and finally I found a product that works very similar to Collistar Magic Drops - Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster. Clarins' Glow Booster is so easy to use and I absolutely love the natural results. You basically mix any moisturizer or face oil with 1-2 drops of Golden Glow and apply it all over your face and neck. Results are fantastic because it gives your skin that natural glow without looking orangy and since you are mixing it with moisturizer it doesn't leave any streaks at all. I am very happy that I discovered this product, because I can use it in the morning before I apply my makeup, so it is a perfect product for busy people or for those of you that just don't want to bother with applying a self-tanner cream before going to sleep. Another thing is that there is no strong odor afterwards. Collistar Magic Drops didn't leave any odor, Clarins leaves very subtle self-tanner odor, which is barely noticeable.

Now, when I am trying to get really bronzy and get more intense results, I will use Tanceuticals self-tanning products the night before. I really like the natural yet intense results that these self-tanners deliver, but I do wish they were tinted. Tanceuticals self-tanners are transparent, so it might get tricky sometimes to blend it out evenly, so just make sure you are not leaving anything behind like myself once when I ended up with a random streaky tanned toe lol. I was lucky it was winter and I didn't have to wear sandals haha.

Tanceuticals self-tanners didn't cause any breakouts on my skin and I do like the coconut scent, that reminds me of summer. These products are pretty odorless afterwards and they last a good 4-5 days on my body and 2-3 on my face.

So these are my favorite self-tanners at the moment. What are yours? Let me know in the comment section below!

Happy Tuesday,
