Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette Review & Swatches!

Purchased
I have been dying to get my hands on this Becca x Jaclyn Hill Face Palette since the first time Jaclyn mentioned her new collaboration with Becca Cosmetics on her snapchat. I didn't own her previous release, the famous Champagne Pop highlighter, but I was planning to eventually get it, when this palette came around which included not only the Champagne Pop itself but some extra blushes and a new highlight shade.

I have been hearing people raving about Becca Cosmetics creamy and high quality highlighters, and this palette is actually my first from Becca Cosmetics (I've only tried their Luminous Foundation which I reviewed here). Because of that it's harder for me to compare the quality since a lot of folks have been mentioning that the original Champagne Pop has a slightly different texture, which like I mentioned I don't have in my collection, so I will just focus on my initial thoughts about this palette. I am saying that because reviews online go from completely loving this palette to those super negative.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette contains 3 blushes and 2 highlighters. Rosé Spritz which is the first blush from top left corner is my favorite blush in this palette. It is a luminous blush, which adds very subtle glow to the cheeks without looking too shimmery. This shade reminds me a bit of Nars Orgasm. Next one we have Amaretto and  Pamplemousse, which are both mineral blushes. Amaretto seemed to be swatching the lightest, but since I am using it more like a bronzer it works just fine because I can work up the intensity. Pamplemousse is also a very pretty coral pink  matte shade.

When it comes to highlighters we have the famous Champagne Pop as well as the new highlighter called Prosecco Pop, which I would describe as a definitely more yellow gold toned, when Champagne Pop is more of a white gold highlighter.

Packaging
I simply LOVE the glamorous packaging of Becca x Jaclyn Hill Face Palette. It looks beautiful and I love the big nice mirror that they included as well. This palette feels sturdy and is travel friendly because of its compact size.

Texture & Staying Power
When it comes to all three blushes, I am pretty happy with the pigmentation as well as staying power. I've mostly been using Rosé Spritz and Amaretto but all three are a very pretty shades that you can layer and mixed together as well. I can definitely tell a difference in texture between the luminous blush and the two mineral blushes, which are not as creamy as the Rosé Spritz (luminous blush).

When it comes to the two highlighters, they both look a bit shimmery on the skin. It's just my personal preference, when it comes to highlighters, that I like them more subtle, luminous without shimmer and these two are shimmery and pretty bold. They are definitely not as creamy as I imagined and unfortunately they do not stay on for long. I believe if the texture was a bit more creamy it would just work better. Also I started to apply them using my fingers, because with my Sigma highlighting brush the color just looked uneven and didn't blend well. Prosecco Pop looks a bit too yellow on my skin and is definitely not a shade that I would wear during the day, but I think it would work great during a night out for example.

Summary:
I do think this Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette is a very pretty product. I really like the blushes but unfortunately I am a little disappointed in the quality of highlighters. I think I just had those super high expectations and since I am a big fan of Jaclyn Hill and her flawless dewy complexion, I had pretty high hopes for Champagne Pop as well as Prosecco Pop. Unfortunately both highlighters are a bit too glittery for my taste and feel a bit on the dry side plus they don't last long on the skin, which is the biggest bummer. I am still open to try out any new Becca x Jaclyn Hill collabs in the future, so we will see!

Have you tried Becca x Jaclyn Hill Collection yet? What are your thoughts?
