I've had a phase in my makeup routine, when I would only use translucent setting powders and stay far far away from anything that had pigment in it. I was usually concerned about not having my powder shade matching my foundation, but overall the biggest thing for me was that I thought anything not translucent will just add additional unnecessary layer of makeup. My mind was definitely swirling around that old school "cake face" and not until now, that I've decided to try something with color in it, and let me tell you, this product definitely proved me wrong.
Givenchy Prisme Libre face powder is a mattifying and color-correcting product that's divided into 4 different shades. I was looking for something natural with a matte finish so I got Taffetas Beige which contains mostly warm peach, beige and yellow colored powder. You can use either one shade or mix all of them together. Honestly, I usually just mix a tiny bit of all shades together and that works the best for me. I am NW25-30 and this powder matches my skin flawlessly. Even though these shades do look a bit on the warm and peachy side, once on the skin they make my complexion look natural and radiant, love it.

When it comes to texture, Prisme Libre is seriously the softest face powder I've ever tried in my life. Very fine milled Prisme Libre just glides on the skin and feels very lightweight, I seriously can't get over it. It is sheer but at the same time, it does a great job at evening out my complexion. I was also impressed with its lasting power, which left my t-zone shine free for the almost entire work day.
