If you follow me on instagram you've probably noticed that I've been testing a lot of Jesse's Girl products lately and today I want to share with you my review of their Highlight & Contour Kit.
Jesse's Girl Highlight & Contour Kit comes with 4 highlighters and 4 contouring shades. It's actually my first powder contouring kit since I usually use creams, so I was really curious how it will work on my skin.
First thing that I noticed as I started to swatch all the colors was the buttery and creamy texture which really made me happy cause I knew that that will make blending process so much easier, especially when working with the darker shades.
I have been using this kit for few weeks now and the third contouring color from left became my favorite shade. It is a nice cool toned brown that works well with my currently really pale skin. It doesn't have any orange undertones to it so it looks very nice on the skin. I feel like the second contouring shade would work great as a regular bronzer since it is more on the warmer side with slightly satin finish.
When it comes to highlighters, I like the second color since it matches my current skin tone the best. I am glad they included yellow color which is a great color correcting shade that you can use to help diminish under eye circles or/and any blue or purple discoloration.
Overall I am pretty impressed with this palette. It is a drugstore product after all ( the kit cost $12.99) but the quality is very good.
