I first stumbled upon Giovanni brand a few years back when I purchased their Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo, (which by the way is a pretty amazing clarifying hair product that literally makes your scalp tingle) so I was super excited to try out their new 2chic Repairing Blackberry + Coconut Milk line.
I use hot tools on daily basis, and I've been getting balayage for some time now, so my hair needs constant TLC and I need not only a good repair hair kit but also a one that is color safe. Giovanni 2chic Repairing Blackberry + Coconut Milk is designated for over-processed and damaged hair that needs deep repair. I prefer my skincare products to come without any scent but when it comes to hair care I am a big sucker for a good smelling shampoo. Giovanni 2chic Repairing Blackberry + Coconut Milk has a subtle creamy coconut scent to it, which I really like (I also absolutely love everything coconut scented!). I've been testing the entire line for a few weeks now and I am really happy with it. The most important thing for me is to have a product that hydrates but at the same time doesn't weight down my hair and this line hasn't done that. The shampoo lathers nicely and conditioner leaves my hair super soft. The leave-in conditioning & styling elixir doesn't weight my hair down and the hair oil serum adds a beautiful shine and helps fight the frizz.
Overall, I think it is a fantastic and affordable cruelty-free hair care line that smells great and leaves my hair soft and clean.
