MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft&Gentle is definitely one of the most popular highlighter products out there, and because contouring becomes more and more popular, I wanted to give it a try and see how it will work on my face.
The color is a beautiful metallic, champagne shade that will suit any complexion. The photos below show the product swatched and then blended out.

MSF powder is a high-frost highlighter, that should be applied on those parts of your face, that you would like to enhance (for example: brow bone, top of your cheekbones, cupid bow ), but it should never ever be used all over face, because of the amount of shimmer it has.
I think the safest way to apply this product is by using a blending brush (I use Sigma E40) or with your fingers. You have to be careful though, it is very frosty, so very often the shimmer moves and will end up in the places you didn't want it in first place (read everywhere ;-) ).

Overall, I think it is a beautiful highligher, definitely more suitable for night time, but you can use it during day too, as long as you apply it in the right way. Remember: less is more :)
