NYX Cosmetics Lip Liner Pencils Review & Swatches!

I have to admit that currently I am totally obsessed with bright lips and since most of the lipsticks I own are in pretty vibrant shades, I was looking for lip liners to complete my lip makeup so it looks more put together & last longer.

I got these NYX lip liners in three juicy shades: 817 Hot Red, 838 Purple Rain and 836 Bloom. 

Hot Red is a beautiful red that will work great with my Riri Woo lipstick. Bloom is a pretty fuchsia-pink shade, that will look good with Girl About Town (if I apply it on my entire lips, it makes the lipstick appear a bit darker and even more vibrant) and my favorite Purple Rain which is a gorgeous purple shade (I've heard this one is a dupe for MAC's Magenta).

Summary: 

These liners are really soft and beautifully pigmented. The colors show up immediately and stay on quite some time. And not the mention that NYX lip liners are super affordable ($2-$3)!
