Dove Hair Therapy Dry Shampoo Review!

Dry shampoo is one of those hair products that I use all the time and I honestly can't live without. It is just such a time-saver. I love how it absorbs oil as well as adds a bit of a volume to my hair. I have been using few different brands for the last year and because dry shampoos are definitely the it hair products right now, a  lot of companies came out with their version of one. I decided to get Dove Dry Shampoo because it claimed to leave the hair soft and add volume. I hate dry shampoos that leave hair dry and crunchy, just like after heavy use of hair spray (which I don't using because of that), so I was excited to try Dove.

First thing that I've noticed is that the white residue disappeared within seconds of  spraying my hair and massaging it onto my scalp. The product instantly absorbs oil and my roots appeared clean and not oily anymore. I don't think it added tons of volume to my hair, but it didn't leave it dry and sticky so I liked that a lot. The scent is very subtle and I like it even though I prefer dry shampoos that don't have any scent (I am kind of weird about that haha).

Summary:
Overall I think it is a decent dry shampoo, that does the job, leaves my hair clean, soft and the most important thing - it doesn't leave the white residue on my dark hair.

What dry shampoo are you using at the moment?
Have a lovely weekend,

  1. Great review! I love dry shampoos since I wash my hair every other day, I use a dry shampoo on the second day to keep my hair from looking greasy. I haven't tried this one before but looks like a good one!

I'll have to try this guy out.
I've been using the Batiste Original (because it was at Marshall's) and I love the volume it gives and how great it is at getting the oils out of my hair BUT it's hard to rub in and after a few hours I can't stand the smell of it on my hair! Once the bottle I have is empty, I'm totally going to try out the Dove dry shampoo...it's easier for me to find too (no Ulta's near me!).

  4. Hi Abby! looks like I really should try Batiste Original... I had the one for brunettes but wasn't super happy about it (it left dark residue in my hair :/).
