Sephora Sale: Urban Decay Spectrum Palette Review & Swatches!

I have been wanting Urban Decay Spectrum palette since it first came out, but since it was $55 and it mostly had colors that I knew I wouldn't be able to wear everyday, I decided to wait and see if it will go on sale soon. Sephora currently has it in stock, on sale for $39 so without thinking twice I decided to get it.

When I finally got my hands on this palette, opening it was like opening a jewelry box. Gorgeous vibrant shades combined with edgy packaging, was something that my makeup collection was definitely missing.

Packaging is very important to me, and this palette comes in a very sturdy, high quality absolutely GORGEOUS and edgy hard plastic case with mirror. It is not very travel friendly but I don't think I would ever need to take with me anywhere since the shades are so colorful and I don't usually wear those colors on every day basis. You can actually take out the plastic part with shades out and just use the packaging as a super cute storage box. 

Urban Decay Spectrum palette contains 15 never seen before vibrant shades and I absolutely fell in love with them as I was swatching them on my hand. I did noticed that few colors had a bit falloff (Daybreak for example) but with an eyelid primer, they looked nicely pigmented on the eyes.

I attended #80s themed Christmas party last night and since I love dressing up accompanied by fun makeup I just went with the flow and created this fun makeup look using previous edition of #UrbanDecaySpectrum palette 💜💙💚 The colors I used were absolutely fantastic to work with, richly pigmented, blended so well and literally I had zero to minimum fallouts 😮😍. Summary: Overall, I think everyone should have this palette in their collection if most of your eyeshadows are neutral and you are looking to have something more vibrant and colorful on hand. I think this palette is beautiful and you can create many gorgeous looks with it by mixing different shades together or just adding one color to your usual neutral base.
