The ultimate dewy skin creators: Becca Aqua Luminous foundation & Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette Review & Swatches!

Purchased
I have been absolutely obsessed with dewy skin finish for the past good few months and I finally found products (to be exact 3 of them) that really deliver and create that beautiful luminous glow. Becca Aqua Luminous foundation as well as Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette are the two out of my three must-have products. The third one which is not included in this post is Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow kit which I've already reviewed on the blog (link to the review here). When all three used together... they create dewy and luminous magic, ha!

Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Foundation in shade Medium

Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting foundation is packed with vitamin E and C as well as lists Hyaluronic Acid and Green Algae Extract as one of its ingredients. The foundation contains 32% water, so it is a very moisturizing product to begin with. After struggling with blending some of my other foundations due to my dry skin during the winter, this products blends like a dream. The texture is very creamy but it's lightweight and adds a gorgeous dewy glow to the skin immediately, without looking cakey or oily. I think one of my favorite things about this foundation is the applicator, which keeps the product fresh, sanitary and easy to travel with. I usually need just a bit of this foundation, one maybe two drops for my entire face. The coverage is buildable but I wouldn't call it full coverage. I don't ever wear full coverage foundations during summer and because this product creates gorgeous dewy finish with lightweight texture it is my absolute favorite foundation at this moment. The only mistake that I've done while ordering online was to get a Medium shade which turned out to be a bit too dark for my pale face right now. I do get at least two shades darker during the summer though, so the shade will work perfect then.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette

I am going to be completely honest with you Guys. When I first purchased this palette, I wasn't quite sure how to use it on daily basis. I remember trying it one late, dark afternoon and seeing absolutely nothing different in my skin appearance and thinking "wow, what a waste of money". It wasn't until the next, bright morning, when I actually saw what this product can do to my skin.

And what it does is pretty amazing. I have not owned any other product like this before. I use it after my Becca foundation when I set my face with translucent powder and just gently swirl my powder brush in the first shade which is called Dim Light and gently apply it all over my face. It creates very subtle, soft glow that looks very natural yet you can tell a difference. You skin looks smoother and more radiant, love IT.

The middle shade in the palette which is called Incandescent Light shade I use as a highlight or will mix it with Dim Light for even more luminous finish (great for evenings). The third shade is called Radiant Light and I use it on my checks as a sheer contour color. The whole palette is fantastic and I absolutely recommend it to everyone.
